BUILD UNITED
For over 65 years we have supported our local community.
How we build a better tomorrow
We offer organizational support for other nonprofits to ensure they are able to make the greatest impact with their essential services.
We do this through BUILD United, an organizational capacity building project created from the results of the report, State of Stanislaus County’s Nonprofit Sector 2018-2019.
The report indicated the need for support to nonprofits to help them build a strong organizational plan. By implementing this plan they would increase their ability to serve more clients, improve impact in the community and ensure sustainability so they can continue to serve our community for years to come.
BUILD United consists of a relational and organizational self-assessment, interpretation and plan, cohort learning model, and workshops and funding from United Way of Stanislaus County to achieve the outcomes outlined in their plan.
Our first cohort of seven homeless service providers concluded in June 2021. Our next cohort will begin on August 17, 2021 and will include seven agencies that provide youth empowerment programs.
